The main body of the hat is a double treasure needle pattern, which is divided into two ways: sheet weaving and circle weaving. From bottom to top, the sheet weaves the forehead flap and rests the needle. Then knit two ears from bottom to top, pick up the needle in the center of the back of the neck, connect the two ears, continue to weave the upward piece to the forehead, connect the forehead flap, loop together to the top of the hat, and weave the top of the hat minus the needle. Knit the piping and stitch it on the reverse. Pick knitting hat cord. Finally, sew the skin label.
Wire: mink down and wool thread strands
Needle size: 5mm and 4mm needles
Other materials and tools: 1 leather label, spare needle, sewing needle
Density: large knitted double ingot, 10cm~11.5 needles in natural state.
Tip: Density is a prerequisite for weaving, so use needles and threads that match the density, weave samples in advance, and measure density.
Start knitting
Forehead flap: with a large needle, up to 25 stitches. Add 1 stitch on each side of rows 5 and 6 = 29 stitches. A total of 30 rows are knitted, the thread is broken, and the needle is rested.
Ears (weave 2 pieces): with a large needle, up to 13 stitches. Add 1 stitch on each side of rows 5 and 6 = 17 stitches. A total of 40 rows are knitted, the thread is broken, and the needle is rested.
Weave another piece of ear without breaking the thread.
Cap body
Descending (connecting): 17 stitches for the ear, 11 stitches for the center of the back of the neck, 17 stitches for the other ear = 45 stitches. Weave 20 rows.
Lower ring (connection): knit 45 stitches, then 29 stitches of the forehead flap = 74 stitches.
Weave 70 turns without adding or subtracting.
1st needle reduction turn: (top left 2 and 1) to the end of the circle = 37 needles.
2nd needle reduction circle: (top left 2 and 1) to the last 1 stitch, 1 down = 19 stitches.
Break the stitches and thread the remaining 19 stitches twice with a sewing needle to gather the top of the hat.
Hem: Face up, with small pin and 220 stitches along the perimeter of the hat (= 38 stitches from the center of the back of the neck to the bottom of the ear + 40 stitches from the bottom of the ear to the beginning of the forehead flap + 32 stitches for half the forehead flap).
Weave 8 circles of lower needles.
Leave the needle and stitch it on the reverse side as piping.
Cap rope: face up, with a small needle, pick 4 needles along the bottom of the ear rolling, rotate the hat to the reverse side, and pick another needle = 8 needles at the parallel of the needle (2 consecutive rows).
Loop knitting 7cm lower needles, leaving live needles, suturing 4 stitches each.
Fold the flap upwards and stitch the sides of the flap to secure to the hat. Sew the skin to the upper right corner of the forehead flap.
Hide the thread head, clean and set.
Everyone is welcome to hand in their homework!
