On May 9, the Jiangsu Provincial Market Supervision Bureau official website issued a survey analysis of women’s underwear product quality supervision. In the first quarter of 2019, the Jiangsu Provincial Market Supervision Bureau entrusted Changzhou Fiber Inspection Institute, Suzhou Fiber Inspection Institute and Jiangsu Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau Industrial Product Testing Center supervised the quality of women’s underwear products,

Women’s underwear includes female wearing bra, body shaping underwear, bellylace, etc. There are nearly 3,000 underwear production companies in China, mainly gathered in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangdong. The number of women’s underwear production companies in Jiangsu is not much, mainly distributed in the city of Suzhou, Yancheng.
This supervision spot check 100 batches, qualified 89 batches, the pass rate is 89%. Among them, there were 19 batches of enterprises in Jiangsu Province, qualified 19 batches, and the qualified rate was 100%.
The results showed that the unqualified items of women’s underwear products were concentrated in two indicators of fiber content and pH.

Fiber content
The fiber content reflects the true properties of the material fabric material, which is one of the main reference indicators of consumers. The fiber content does not match the labeling information, misleading consumers choose the right goods. This check found that 10 batches of women’s underwear products were unqualified, and the names and content of the labeling fiber were not inform.

pH
The pH is too high or too low, which will damage the alkalinity balance of human skin, causing skin allergy or infection. This check found that the pH of 1 batches of products failed.
